Decorative:

Decorative concrete is the use of concrete as not simply for construction but as a visual enhancement to a structure, while still serving its function as an integral part of the building itself such as floors, walls, driveways and patios.

Crack Sealing & Line Striping:

If cracks in asphalt pavements are not sealed, surface water can reduce the strength of base and sub-base layers which can result in cracks and deterioration of the asphalt surface. Crack sealing will extend pavement life and is cost effective by slowing asphalt deterioration. Aggregate base material is installed to the depth required and compacted. Asphalt surface is installed using a self-propelled paver at the required depth. We finish with striping the lot as per plans and codes.

SEAL COATING

Sealcoat is a liquid that is applied to asphalt to protect it from oxidation and damage caused by winter cracking, traffic and UV rays. The sealcoat will act as a barrier protecting the surface. This will protect your asphalt investment from erosion, oxidation, harmful gas and oil spills.

  • Sealing restores the original black color to asphalt
  • Enhances the appearance of the property
  • Smooth surface of sealed pavement provides lower maintenance
  • Protection against oxidation, weather and traffic

Line Striping

There are several options when it comes to parking lot striping layouts and styles. We can help you decide things such as: Do I want single lines? or Double lines? Or Do I want straight end design or the popular round end design for the parking line? We can help with the design of your stalls or follow a set of well drawn blueprints. It's entirely up to you. Its best to consult your city planner before you make any design decision that can affect your parking lot users.

Asphalt:

  • Low initial construction costs and recyclable
  • Short construction and curing time
  • Safe: it offers skid resistance, reduced splash back

Patching:

Asphalt solution for repairing potholes, alligatored areas, (where asphalt is breaking up) and low areas. Patching is effective in prolonging the surface quality. There are many different methods of patching asphalt and different situations that determine which type is best.

  • Pothole Patching: Loose and broken asphalt is cleaned out, followed by the application of liquid asphalt tack for adhesion and then filling the pothole with asphalt.
  • Surface Patching: The asphalt is prepared by sweeping, followed by the application of liquid asphalt tack for adhesion prior to asphalt installation.
  • Overlay Patching: Method used to fill low water ponding areas or as a temporary repair of low or damaged areas.
  • Digout Patching: Also called removal patching. Solution where severely broken asphalt areas need to be completely removed down to aggregate base and replaced.
  • Excavation Patching: Severely broken asphalt areas where sub-grade soils have contaminated the aggregate base material.

Overlay:

A pavement overlay is the application of a layer of bituminous paving to an existing paved surface. This adds structural capacity and smoothness all while improving the exterior appearance of your property.

Reconstruction:

Asphalt reconstruction is considered one of the most permanent repairs. It is used on severely damaged asphalt surfaces that will continue to cause problems if another method of repair is used instead.

  • Remove & Replace
    Removing asphalt and other material
    Install new base & asphalt
  • Reclaim & Replace
    Reclaim existing asphalt and base
    Install new asphalt

New Construction:

All new construction projects start with a site plan and city approval. We'll work directly with you to make sure the project runs smoothly and efficiently. Construction begins with excavation of the area to be paved, removing materials and establishing the proper grade.

Aggregate base material is installed to the depth required and compacted. Asphalt surface is installed using a self-propelled paver at the required depth. We finish with striping the lot as per plans and codes.

Excavation, Catch Basins, Drains Storm Water:

Common materials excavated are dirt, asphalt, base and sub-grade materials. Excavation includes, digging, hauling, and disposal of all material. Catch basins are often installed if there is insufficient drainage. This will direct the surface water to an existing storm sewer or holding pond. Drain tile is used for draining excess ground water, which can cause all sorts of problems. Drain tile will allow more efficient soaking up of the water from the surface, down into the trench where the water is collected into pipes and transported to a ditch, soakaway or storm sewer.

Catch Basins

Parking lots can settle from winter weather. Also settlement of the curb and gutters can cause sidewalks and aprons to deteriorate. Catch basins are often installed if there is insufficient drainage. This will direct the surface water to an existing storm sewer or holding pond.

Drain Tile

Drain tile is designed to collect and redirect excess ground water, which can cause all sorts of problems. Drain tile will allow more efficient soaking up of the water from the surface, down into the trench where the water is collected into pipes and transported to a ditch, soakaway or storm sewer.
